very heavy. very durable powder coating. looks good on my truck. I shortened the uprights from 4 "to mount my best truck (GMC 02). I also put together my truck, it worked well with a helper. a premium ladder rack that dates back hundreds of dollars cheaper than some of the other racks out there.
